The Coast Sunflower is blooming, purple sage is blooming, monkey flower is blooming, get out there and see for yourself! The Great Blue Herons are not blooming, but they are beginning to nest.
I was tickled to find your blog after walking through Bolsa Chica for the first time today. Nice coincidence! :-) I really appreciated reading about recent developments. I found your blog in trying to find a match for this blue flower up on the mesa that I thought was some kind of Nemophila, but the leaves are rounder - almost heart-shaped. No luck so far. I look forward to reading further posts!
